Non-Traditional American Heart Association Course Offerings

Does your busy schedule make it impossible to attend a traditional American Heart Association (AHA) certification course? Do you have testing anxiety or embarrassment?  

Emergency Training Concepts and Consulting LLC offers two online AHA renewal options for select participants.

Option 1: Individually tailored AHA renewal program

This renewal course meets all AHA requirements for completion, but is limited to a maximum of six people per course. One-on-one training is also available in the ETCC Education Center.

Participants will receive the same training as traditional classes including all cognitive and psychomotor components, written testing and resuscitation simulation emphasizing Team Oriented Resuscitation.

Fees:

·         Basic Life Saving (BLS) for Healthcare Providers: $50.00 (includes course plus alternative course fee)

·         Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) Renewal: $115.00 (includes course plus alternative course fee)

·         Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) Renewal: $115.00 (includes course plus alternative course fee)

Option 2: AHA HeartCode blended online course with skill assessment at the ETCC Education Center

Part 1: Online cognitive component of an AHA class. You purchase a key code to take the online class at www.onlineaha.org. You complete this class at your convenience. You can stop and restart the class so that it fits your learning schedule. Once you complete the online Part 1, you come to our Education Center to complete the Parts 2/3.

Part 2/3: This is relative to the class you take:

·         BLS Part 2 is a skill assessment.

·         ACLS and PALS part 2 has a short Team Resuscitation video followed by skills checks and Team Resuscitation demonstrations.
