BLS Provider: The Basic Life Support (BLS) Provider Course is designed to teach the skills of CPR for victims of all ages (including ventilation with a barrier device, a bag-mask device, and oxygen); use of an automated external defibrillator (AED); and relief of foreign-body airway obstruction (FBAO). It is intended for participants who provide health care to patients in a wide variety of settings, including in-hospital and out-of-hospital. Intended for use by out-of-hospital healthcare providers, as well as emergency department personnel and other STEMI systems-of-care providers. Based on the 2010 American Heart Association Guidelines for CPR and ECC. This program enables providers to increase assessment, diagnosis, and rapid treatment of ST-segment elevation myocardial infarction (STEMI).
